You mean that if you say
./configure --target=sparc64-unknown-elf
on, say, i386-linux, then readelf does not work?
That would be bad. Since I'm fairly sure that I've tried this and run
'make check' and nothing terrible happened, can you write a testcase
to show the problem? That way people will notice.
