BTW, I also saw

gcc -L/export/build/gnu/binutils-all/ld -w -O -ffunction-sections -fdata-section s -fvtable-gc -fno-exceptions -fno-rtti -B/export/build/gnu/binutils-all/ld/tmpd ir/gas/ -I/home/hjl/work/linux/src/binutils/binutils/ld/testsuite/ld-selective - g -O2 -c /home/hjl/work/linux/src/binutils/binutils/ld/testsuite/ld-selective/3 .cc -o tmpdir/3.o
/tmp/cc0GXWii.s: Assembler messages:
/tmp/cc0GXWii.s:278: Internal error, aborting at
/home/hjl/work/linux/src/binuti
ls/binutils/gas/write.c line 787 in adjust_reloc_syms
Please report this bug.

in "make check" in ld. It seems that the current binutils in CVS is
