I notice that the sizes of global function objects are noted in the
symbol table of some shared libraries are 0. I do not know the command
line switches with which these libraries were built. Is there a way to
"force" the linker to record the size of the function in .symtab?
Alternately, is there a way to figure out the size of the function
from the .symtab ?
I have GNU ld version 2.9.5 (with BFD 2.9.5.0.22).
Thanks for your help,
Bharadwaj
