# cat foo.s

# /export/build/gnu/binutils/build-mipsel-linux/gas/as-new -KPIC -o foo.o foo.s
foo.s: Assembler messages:
foo.s:1: Fatal error: foo.s:1: bad return from bfd_install_relocation

Is that normal?
