With binutils 2.11.90.0.19 it is:

$ readelf -a /usr/bin/dos | grep stdout
081187e0  00005405 R_386_COPY        081187e0   stdout
    84: 081187e0     4 OBJECT  GLOBAL DEFAULT   23 stdout@GLIBC_2.0 (2)
and dosemu works fine.
