This change (ELF branding) is useful to the stock [BSD]/FreeBSD kernel.
I have no intention of implienting looking for and parsing a
.note.ABI-tag section as I still disagree it is a good solution to the
problem.  We've had this discusison before, and I don't think either you
or I will sway the other.
