powerpc-darwin x hppa1.1-hpux10.20 toolchain

Hello,

I'm trying to build a cross-toolchain to hppa1.1-hp-hpux10.20. Unfortunately, binutils seems rather prejudiced against this target. Builds with 2.13.2.1 fail with a missing header file. Builds with current binutils (ie cvs snapshot off the ftp site) get a bit farther, but die. I'm configuring simply with ./configure --target=hppa1.1-hp-hpux10.20. The error I get is:

powerpc-apple-darwin6.4-g++ -no-cpp-precomp -w -W -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -g -O2 -o size size.o bucomm.o version.o filemode.o ../bfd/.libs/libbfd.a ../libiberty/libiberty.a ./../intl/libintl.a
ld: Undefined symbols:
_som_vec
make[3]: *** [size] Error 1
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
make: *** [all-binutils] Error 2

Any ideas? Thanks,

Dara

P.S. Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask. Unfortunately, the binutils-bugs list is so riddled with spam, that it didn't seem a practical idea to post there...
