The added info section appears to be missing from the patch.  I can't
generate the info files after this patch unless I take out the line
added above, but I don't think that's the right thing to do if there
was supposed to be more documentation about it.  Was there?

There was not :-(

I have removed this line from the sources. Andy - did you intend to write some documentation for this section of the bfd manual ?
