Hi DJ,

Putting a "branch list found here" file in toplevel means that
developers will always need to check out and read ALL the src
projects just to find out what the branches are.



Also, part of, but not all, of the branch information would have to be
replicated to all the projects, whether you have checkin permission or
not.  It would be a maintenance nightmare.

OK then lets out it at the top level.
