Nick, you missed updating the MMIX gas testsuite for your
readelf change.

Doh, sorry.

It would have been nice with an option to turn off that warning.

Well, I was not sure that it was worth adding yet another command line option for just this one warning message. After all I reasoned, anyone who really hates the warning can use an inverse grep to get rid of it. But of course I did forget to check all the toolchains for testsuite regressions after applying the patch.

And why not warn for SHT_REL?  Those too aren't applied, as in
"readable"; there's just an internal part in there.

Yes that is a fair point. I will apply an update to handle this case.
