Hi Swami,
Could you please suggest the process of submitting the a new port to FSF.
Once you have your new port working you should submit it to this mailing
list. Ideally this submission should include:
* A patch created against the current binutils sources as found in the
CVS repository. If the patch file is large, then it is helpful to
break it up into per-directory patches and submit them separately.
* New testcases for any features specific to your new port. In
particular this should include a new GAS testsuite subdirectory to
test the assembly and disassembly of instructions for your target.
* ChangeLog entries for each of the directories that you are patching.
These should be submitted as plain text, rather than as part of the
patch(es) and they should follow the conventions exhibited by other
entries in the ChangeLogs.
* An indication of whether you will be willing to act as a maintainer
for this port. Ideally the creator of a new port will act as the
maintainer as well, but this does not always happen.
