You can always put an arbitrary addend in the _GLOBAL_OFFSET_TABLE_
reference.  For example, the following sequence would just as valid as
the one generated by gcc:

	move.l #_GLOBAL_OFFSET_TABLE_@GOTPC-6, %a5
	lea (%pc, %a5), %a5
