There is one unexpected failure with 2.18.90 tools. Reason for failure is, there check added in gas/write.c file. I guess, I need to add the above failed test case as expected failures list for cr16 target.
Correct.  I've just done that for cr16 and a number of other targets
that set linkrelax.
