Re: how to know the cpp search path
Hi Loody,
Is there any option of cpp that can tell me what is the search path of it?
This is a question for the gcc mailing list (gcc@gcc.gnu.org) not the
binutils list.
Mind you the answer is quite simple - if you are using gcc that is - you
just need to add the "-v" option to the command line. For example:
% gcc -v hello.c
[snip]
ignoring nonexistent directory
"/usr/lib/gcc/i386-redhat-linux/4.3.2/include-fixed"
ignoring nonexistent directory
"/usr/lib/gcc/i386-redhat-linux/4.3.2/../../../../i386-redhat-linux/include"
#include "..." search starts here:
#include <...> search starts here:
/usr/local/include
/usr/lib/gcc/i386-redhat-linux/4.3.2/include
/usr/include
End of search list.

Cheers
