Re: cross compiler for x86_64 freebsd

The reason that I got is that is the binutils we use for i386 so to be consistent we want to use the same for x86_64.
I see a lot of x86_64-freebsd stuff being there in binutils-2.17.50.15 and not present in 2.15.
For example bfd/elf64-x86-64.c contains a freebsd support section.
