Hi Bill,

What is the matter here with this error? I am trying to complie 2.17
with 2.13.
cc: installation problem, cannot exec `cc1obj': No such file or directory

This is some kind of problem with the installation of your compiler, not the binutils. If the problem is repeatable, then I would suggest that you try reinstalling gcc.
