Hi Jan,
The patch looks good, but there are a few important points that need to
be cleared up first:
* Who wrote the patch ?
I assume that it was you, but it is best to ask. In order to
accept the patch we will need a copyright assignment on file
from the original copyright holder. I checked the current list
and did not see your name there.
* Please could the new option be described in the linker
documentation (ld/ld.texinfo).
* Please could one or more tests of the new option be added to the
linker testsuite.
and finally,
* Please could an entry be added to the ld?NEWS file mentioning the
new feature.
