Just to ensure that there's no misunderstanding -- it is my understanding
that there are many folks out there not using 64 bit MIPS machines who've
used 2.7 with no problems.  I don't know if that includes users of the
Hitachi SH machines or not;  hopefully one of those people will speak up.
