Ahh yess, the famous 2.7.2.x-compiler-generates-m68020-instruction-during- optimization-that-upsets-the-assembler phonenmum. Obviously aliens are at work here. Easy fix is to use GCC2.7 instead. Other fix is to add a flag to the compiler "make"... % make TARGET_LIBGCC2_CFLAGS=-O0 This eliminates the error during optimization in floatdixf() by turning off all optimization during libgcc2.c compiling.
