Hi

(I run Cygwin b18 & egcs 1.0 with all the patches... and Windows 95)

I have BBIIIGGG troubles compiling binutils now :(

Bison installation went well.

./configure worked well, but now a lot of the make lines fail, with
the "an illegal operation was made: Close" window (it mustn't be the
exact translation, sorry, but my Windows is in French!).
Dos doesn't seem to be limited to 8 levels of subdirectories BUT a
path is limited to 128 caracters.... Maybe that's why everything
fails, I don't know.
(besides binutils2.8.0.21 directory is under
c:\users\stages\geoffroy\rtos)

Any clue?
