I would like to use GCC on Windows NT4 (and Windows 95 if possible) to compile and link code in ELF format for an MC68328 system. The system uses a real-time OS and will have an ELF loader. The SDS Single-Step debugger is to be used. Some developers have Diab Data compilers, but I would like to have a GNU alternative. It seems that EGCS 1.1.2 is the compiler I need to use, and that i586-cygwin32 hosting is supported. The problem is that I don't know how to select ELF as the target format. It doesn't accept m68k-elf as a target. Is this supported? If so, what do I need to do?
