Anyone see this error? libgcc1.S: Assembler messages: libgcc1.S:3904: FATAL: Can't create libgcc1.o: Error 0 *** Error code 1 make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `libgcc1-asm.a' Current working directory /data/gnu/b-m68k-coff/gcc *** Error code 1 make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `all-gcc' I'm trying to build a sparc-sun0s4.1.3 to mc68020 cross gcc compiler and i'm getting *DOZENS* of roadblocks along the way....very frustrating.... I thought I was *experienced with Unix/Linux enough to do this *simple* install and build...but this is not the case... Is it my platform? (Sparc SunOS 4.1.3) SHould I upgrade to Solaris? Should I scrap Sun and try building a cross gcc on Linux(Redhat) instead? Apparently, Linux users are having probs building cross gccs too. It seems. --- Rod ------ Want more information?
