well, still scrounging for info [been busy the last week, sorry]. Once I
perfect this mingw32 installation, I can make a nice hint on it [looks
like common knowledge though, from people who know more then I do].

the djgpp, I'll figure out eventually. still reading through all the
readme.1st's at djgpp. [and scripts]. (sorry, I dont like blinkdly
running scripts, and rather do it myself first). I can post my
experiences, and see if it helps anyone. (there was a howto at delorie,
that'll help).

a 3rd one I wanted to figure out was cygwin. [they have that cygwin
package, which I guess I have to track down first].

[just a resummary of where I'm at, and what I might be able to accomplish].

Kai Ruottu:

sorry ): [I missed the porting gcc stuff, but I did read the manual
before]. Thanks for the djgpp hints. [to be fair, I did get mingw32 to
compile, except for the mingw32 runtime].

I just wanted to learn more about the internals of how this all worked
[which is probably somewhere at gcc.gnu.org, I know].

-------------

wonder what I'll do with this stuff, once I have it...
