Re: using libc and STL with custom hardware and no OS?

Fery wrote:

Hi all,

I have asked this before, but I think I was too vague. How can I use the
libc and libstdc++ libraries on a proprietary platform (Renesas SH-2
cpu) with no OS? In particular, I would like to utilize malloc(), char *
string manipulation functions, and STL containers.

Unless you are just dead set against having an OS, this combination works fine under RTEMS. The SH family is supported by RTEMS.

Thanks:
Circum
