RE: crosstool success (sparc-unknown-linux-gnu/gcc-3.2.3/glibc-2.3.2)

Ooh, you're the first sparc report. Which version of Linux
are you running, and on which Sparc box?

Please do send success reports and/or test results to the
crossgcc@sources.redhat.com mailing list.

Thanks!

Subject: crosstool success

Just reporting that I used crosstool-0.24 to build a
sparc-unknown-linux-gnu/gcc-3.2.3/glibc-2.3.2 toolchain for an
athlon-mp 1800+ host. I haven't run all of the tests yet (maybe next
week), but it compiled a runnable GNU hello-1.3.

I found crosstool while trying to build a toolchain to compile
OpenZaurus. It was nice to find a *script* that built the environment,
since just about every set of instructions was outdated or incorrect
in some way.

I'll report test results and if the arm toolchain works (though it
looks like you've already got plenty of reports for that :).

Thanks!
