Well, this was until now. I recently asked on the arm-linux-kernel list
again and the gurus there seem to be happy with the latest gcc-3.3
versions now, so it might be time to give it a try. However, for ptxdist
we still need it to be configurable because there are old customer
projects which we cannot change without further tests...
