I'm not sure exactly what you mean. I see you've used GCC_EXEC_PREFIX in
your "bootstrap" file, which for gcc >= 2.96 supposedly supports
relocation of the gcc tree. But see also

you'll find some information about hardcoded paths in binutils components.
