Dan; With your changes (minus the target name), I get the same results. Compiling specifically with the -mips32 flag gets around the atomic ll/sc instructions, but then the assember bails again on many: /tmp/ccG6FoVC.s:7492: Error: Cannot branch to symbol in another section.
