How to take down Red Hat 9 with crosstool...

... just run demo-loop.sh a couple times.
My uptime is a scant 39 days, but the last demo-loop.sh
I started several days ago bogged way down about
halfway through, and stopped making headway today,
just like last time.
I had to reboot my build machine and restart the job
halfway through to continue.  And this is even
after updating to the latest rh9 kernel from Red Hat.

I suppose this is my cue to try Fedora...
