Hi Dan
I have seen some of you answers on gcc-help@gcc.gnu.org mailing list. I am looking for a cross assembler and linker that can run on Windows and target ARM-Linux. (I have been able to download the cross assembler and linker working on 386-Linux). Do you know if anyone has built a Windows-ARM cross assembler and linker?
Yes. In particular, if you can live with one that requires Cygwin to run, you can use my crosstool script to generate such a toolchain. You can download it from http://www.kegel.com/crosstool/crosstool-0.28-rc37.tar.gz The documentation is at http://kegel.com/crosstool/crosstool-0.28-rc37/doc/crosstool-howto.html
If you run into any problems, please report them on the crossgcc mailing list; see http://sources.redhat.com/ml/crossgcc/ - Dan
