Re: Cross Compiler question (the essence of a Canadian CrossCompiler)


That was a great pointer and things are progressing well. Sadly, the time to
build a complete compiler is on the long side. I did notice that the
binutils are linking dynamically when I did an "export LDFLAGS=--static" ...
Is there a proper way to have the whole tool chain link statically? I only
want to run this configuration for a while and memory conservation during
the design phase isn't a big deal.
