That's not needed. It just prints help. I wrote it in the example on my site
so that user are aware there is help. You can skip it.

Hu? I couldn't find a place where "scripts_basic" appears. it certainly does
not appear in the linux sources from at least.

Maybe your kernel sources are incorectly extracted. From your logs, retrieving
and extracting the sources was very fast. Did you cancel a previous build, by

Also attaching your (compressed!) log file would have been of great help.
What you get on-screen is only part of the log.
