Kevin, all,

I would change the patches as discussed with Yann when I have time.
This is not before in about 4-6 weeks.

A build for x86-unknown-linux-gnu went well with the patches applied.
I used a checkout of ct-ng of about end of january.

In the meantime I lost track which of the patches got applied and which not.
so if I would do it, I would start with a fresh clone of Yann's hg repository
and rework my patches against this revision.

If you want to jump in, I can help when you encounter problems or have questions to the changes.

Regards
Titus
