Crosstool-NG build failed: f_info undefined

Hi,

Is this the right mailing list for posting quetions about crosstool-ng?

I tried to build crosstool-ng-1.18.0, but if failed on PPL, saying that 
‘f_info’ was not declared in this scope, and no declarations were found 
by argument-dependent lookup at the point of instantiation [-fpermissive].

I searched for the string 'f_info' in my source code, but it seems not 
to be defined anywhere. I'm using gcc 4.7, but I tried gcc 4.4 as well 
with the same result as was proposed as a solution on the Internet.

I was compiling astlinux and building the crosstool environment was the 
first step.

What am I doing wrong?

My setup:
Linux mint 15 host
default (unchanged) configuration
linux 2.6.35.14 kernel sources
