This is just good old 2.5.6-1, just recompiled for cygwin-1.5.0.
Local 2.01Gb transfers work correctly, but being in the middle of the
university exam session I can really do no big testing.

Umm, rsync.exe uses cygpopt-0.dll, which has not yet been compiled for 1.5.0. Problem?
