Hi,
I've packaged ghostscript-8.15 and tested it (used gv on examples/*).
Some points ...
1. This can remove the (last?) dependency on XFree86-lib-compat.
TeXmacs "needs" lib-compat, but it is probably due to ghostscript.
TeXmacs executable has no direct dependency on XFree86-lib-compat.
2. I have moved the cygwin specific readme into /usr/share/doc/Cygwin
(instead of /usr/doc/Cygwin)
3. gs-fonts-8.11 have been upgraded from 6.0
4. I have included the jpeg sources (as did gs-7.05)
I have used Dario's cyg-pkg script and it has made the whole process
fairly simple. Thanks Dario.
It is about 15MB in 4 files. Is there some space where I can upload it
to?
Regards,
rb
