Maybe we could stress the use of u2d and d2u over mount modes?

When I reported my problem I wasn't sure if it was a regression or not.
I don't think it is, though.

IMO, no, I don't see any reason for a release branch.  If setup.exe was
being released frequently or under very active development then maybe it
would make sense.  I don't think it makes sense for the current
development environment.
