RE: fixed font problem: mkfontdir didn't solve




t me tell exactly what I did.

Use Binary mode please.  Text will give problems

no idea, xfree (or xwin) does not dare to add or delete anything in any
batch files.

Why so? your choice.
I would recommend you use tar xvf command from Cygwin, not Vanilla WinZip
unless you know how to configure WinZip to extract files without
screwing them with \r\n.

Yes, your WinZip screwed up all the text files needed for x-server to work
properly.
