Hello,
I have searched the archives with no success, so I'll ask here.
I have successfully installed Cygwin and the XWin server on my NT 4.0 system
(NT 4.0 [Build 1381 SP 6a], Gateway E-5200,
3DLabs Video adapter [GLINT R3/Oxygen VX1], Dell Trinitron [P1110] monitor)
It's great! It's Fast! It's color confused.
It behaves as if the red/blue inputs are reversed.
By this I mean that an "xsetroot -solid red" gives a blue background,
"xsetroot -solid blue" gives a red background, while
"xsetroot -solid green" gives a green background.
But it isn't that simple, because "xsetroot -solid dimgray" (which is
defined in rgb.txt as "105 105 105") gives a steelblue sort of color.
It is NOT monitor nor adapter-to-monitor cable dependant, as I have switched
both of those with no change in behavior.
Suggestions?
