Problems starting the server

I have installed cygwin and the contents of  X-servers-v-1.0.tar.bz2. on my
NT 4.0 SP6.
When I try to start the server with the startdx.bat script I receive to
messages:

Couldn't open RGB_DB '/usr/lib/X11/rgb'
could not open default font 'fixed'

but the rgb file is there and the fonts too.
Can anybody help me ?
