Hi!
I'm trying to run a Cygwin-application (which uses XFree86) on machine
which does not have Cygwin installed. By placing cygwin1.dll, libX11.dll
and libz.dll (the only DLLs I can see are necessary) in same directory as
the application, the application comes as far as trying to open an
X-window, when it exits after displaying the message
> X Error: Bad Value
> Request Major code 18 ()
> Value 0x0
> Error Serial #10
> Current Serial #17
Am I missing anything? This problem does not appear when Cygwin is
installed (actually, by renaming c:\cygwin to c:\cygwin.not the problem
appears even on machines with Cygwin installed).
I'm probably not giving enough information here, so please let me know what
further information would be useful.
/Jesper
