Do you still have parts cygwin b-20 on your system at all? The FAQ quite clearly states that cygwin 1.1.4 or greater is required,
and other parts of cygwin are dependant on the cygwin1.dll version - perhaps you could send in a cygcheck -s -r -v?
You also don't mention what service pack you are on, or whether you have tried upgrading your video drivers (both are listed as
issues in the FAQ).
Please try those and get back to us. I've dropped a few more comments in the body below.

You're not using ntsec. That's ok ignore this message.

Did you download the fonts tarball - have you gone through the installation how-to?

The Xserver has crashed. Are there any other messages /popup windows or the like (other than you described above)?
