Harold,

Actually I just checked again and I have the latest cygwin (1.1.8-2).
The only way for me to upgrade would be to get a snapshot. (which
I will do if necessary). Which version to do you have?
I'm also running the latest gcc:

gcc driver version 2.95.3-1
