Here they are. I think you find them under extra/etc/X11/xdm ...

Two things:
There are no .Xdefaults or .xresources files in
the file you mention here.
and
If these files are required for proper operation
of Cygwin/XFree86, shouldn't they be mentioned
in the user's guide?
I took the files I didn't already have from the
file you mentioned and put them in my $HOME
dir, but since I'm still lacking .Xdefaults and
.xresources, the colors still gives me problems.
I'll try another mirror to see if it could be that
the file was outdated (I doubt it though).
