AW: Crash of XFree 4.1.0: XWin 262 handle_exceptions

KPH> instead of startxwin.bat, try startx script from a cygwin bash shell.
KPH>
KPH> cd /usr/X11R6/bin
KPH> startx

Okay, after I could modify the script 'startx' for using xdmcp
the launching of this script put up a successfull 640x480-sized remote CDE
session.

Therefore I tried

 XWin -screen 0 640x480x32 -query <server_ip> -from <client_ip>

What shall I say: It works!
Okay A 640x480-sized remote CDE session is a little bit small on a 1280x1024
sized
windows desktop.

Then I tried

 XWin -screen 0 800x600x32 -query <server_ip> -from <client_ip>

It works again.

Once again I tried

 XWin -screen 0 1024x768x32 -query <server_ip> -from <client_ip>

I hoped 'startx' acted as God and healed my cygwin/xfree86-system.
But I was disappointed. After launching of the remote CDE session the XWin
window hangs again.

Summary: The problem I described in

          http://www.cygwin.com/ml/cygwin-xfree/2001-q2/msg02007.html

the first time depends from the screen resolution of the Xwin
window.

XWin.exe works well with screen resolution 640x480 and 800x600.

XWin.exe hangs using screen resolution 1024x768.

XWin.exe crashes using screen resolution 1280x1024.

And now?
I don't like to use a 800x600 sized remote CDE-session on a 1280x1024 sized
windows desktop.
