Keybord problem

Hello,
I'm in Cygwin/Xfree86 on Win NT:
- I configure access controle (xhost +)
- I start a telnet session from a bash window to connect to an AIX server.
- I export DISPLAY to my screen.
- Then I launch an "xterm &"
The following error appear : unable to open font "-*-ergonomic-medium-r-*-
...
and the keyboard seems to be desactivated. I meen that nothing appear on the
screen.
Note that this problem come with all the applications I run from the remote
server via telnet.
Do anyone have an idea to solve this problem ?
