Grace causes fatal error on X server


You can start grace and open the file dialog, but when
you load a project grace crashes the X server.

The problem only occurs with cygwin/xfree, the program works fine
with XWin32 5.1

I am using Grace 5.1.2 on a Sun Sparc, SunOS 5.8

On the client you get:

I am using an out of the box cygwin, installed yesterday (4.7.2001) form the
net.
And Xwin also installed yesterday following the new Cygwin/XFree86 User's
Guide.

I also installed the XWin-Test39.exe, but this XWin also crashes and
produces
the following XWin.exe.stackdump:
