I do not know. Access Violation can be for several reasons. Your best bet
to get help is join xfree86 mailing list (cygwin-xfree@cygwin.com), read the
documents, FAQ and mail archives at http://xfree86.cygwin.com. You could
have multiple Cygwin1.dll, you could have older versions of X11 dlls, as I
said it can be for several reasons.
