Weird color!

Hi

I am experiencing some weird color changes whenever I use my solaris 7 programs. Specifically, my X-server is on my Win98 pc and I am trying to link it to my solaris 7 workstation so that I can use Cadence on my PC. When my program is shown, the colors changed suddenly to green and white, which made it either too dark or too bright to see the letters.  May I know how I can correct the problem?  Xterm also complaints that it cannot allocate green and yellow.

I am using Xfree version 4.1.0.
