Hello there,
I have a couple questions. I have read the install guides, the FAQ, and
attempted to follow any threads on this list that deal with this
subject, but I am unsuccesful.
I have installed cygwin/xfree successfully on my Win NT machine, and I
can connect to my linux box (running redhat 7.1).
What I would like to do, is display my Gnome desktop in my cgywin/xfree
window. I believe I have the general idea how to do this, but would
appreciate it if someone would through some comments (harsh or not) my
way. There is a screenshot on the cygwin/xfree main page, so I know
someone has done it. As a forewarning, I am not a programmer, and I am
new to Linux (the reason for this experiment), but I do follow
instructions/suggestions well.
Thank you in advance.
Shawn
